- Account Information: Name, phone number, email address (via Google Sign-In)
- Profile Information: Profile photo, business/worker category, description
- Location Data: GPS coordinates (with your permission) for nearby services, worker search, and local drops
- User Content: Posts, photos, stories, messages, reviews
- Device Information: Device type, FCM token (for push notifications)
- Usage Data: Search history, app interactions
- Voice Data: Voice commands processed via Google Gemini AI (not stored permanently)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and personalize app features (local business discovery, worker alerts, chat)
- To send push notifications for messages, worker alerts, and promotions
- To process payments via Razorpay for premium features
- To show location-based search results and nearby services
- To power AI features including voice assistant and scam detection
- To display rewarded advertisements for earning credits
- To improve app performance and user experience

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (hosted on AWS, Mumbai region ap-south-1). We implement:
- Row Level Security (RLS) — users can only access their own data
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Server-side payment verification via Supabase Edge Functions
- File upload validation (MIME type checks, size limits)

We do NOT sell your personal data. Your data may be visible to:
- Other users (public profile, posts, shop listings — as intended by you)
- Chat participants (messages are private between sender and receiver)
- Payment processors (Razorpay) for transaction processing only
- AI service providers (Google Gemini) for processing voice commands — no personal data is shared, only the command text
- Ad networks (Google AdMob) may collect device identifiers for personalized ads
6. Data Retention
- Your data is retained as long as your account is active
- Upon account deletion request, your data becomes invisible to others immediately
- After the 30-day grace period, all personal data is permanently deleted from our servers
- Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics may be retained for service improvement
- Chat messages are deleted when either party deletes the conversation

- Access: View your profile and data within the app
- Modify: Edit your profile, posts, and settings anytime
- Delete: Delete your account from Settings → Delete Account (30-day grace period applies)
- Location: Revoke location permission anytime via device settings
- Notifications: Disable push notifications via device settings
- Ad Preferences: Opt out of personalized ads via device settings

Digital Bharat is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us data, please contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable data protection regulations.
