🇮🇳 Digital Bharat — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading and using Digital Bharat, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Digital Bharat is a platform that connects Indian communities digitally through:

Local business discovery and promotion
Worker hiring and job search
Local transportation (drops)
Rental listings (houses, vehicles, land)
Social features (posts, stories, chat)
Emergency worker alerts
AI-powered voice assistant and scam detection

3. User Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use this app
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
You must provide accurate information during registration
One account per person

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

Post false, misleading, or fraudulent business information
Harass, bully, or threaten other users
Upload inappropriate, illegal, or copyrighted content
Attempt to manipulate the credit/payment system
Use the app for any illegal purpose
Create fake accounts or impersonate others
Misuse the AI assistant for harmful or illegal purposes

5. Payments & Credits

Payments are processed securely via Razorpay
All payments are verified server-side for security
Credits purchased are non-refundable unless required by law
Promotional credits earned via ads may expire

6. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you post
You grant Digital Bharat a license to display your content within the app
We may remove content that violates these terms

7. Account Deletion

You may request account deletion from Settings → Delete Account within the app
After requesting deletion, there is a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel by logging back in
After 30 days, your data (profile, posts, followers, messages) will be permanently deleted
During the grace period, your data will be invisible to other users

8. Disclaimer

Digital Bharat is a platform only — we do not guarantee the quality of services offered by businesses/workers
We are not responsible for transactions between users
AI features (voice assistant, scam detection) are provided for informational purposes and may not be 100% accurate
The app is provided "as is" without warranty

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Andhra Pradesh, India.
